Ode to my Mom

There once was a lady named Pussy Cat,
Her friends say she's all that.
With kitties a plenty,
She's bright as a new penny,
To her we tip our hat.

-OR-

There once was a woman named Sue,
Two lovely daughters she brought through.
Finding each one a brat,
Now she's sticking to cats,
Who leave her gifts of poo.

There once was a girl named Lizzie
Whom we thought might be ditzy
But she turned out to be smart
With plenty of heart
And never goes into a tizzy!

Dear Whiz-Bang --

How sweet. I like this poem almost as much as that one you wrote about the transsexual hooker. Your talent will not go unrecognized much longer!

Love, Mom

Dearest Lizzie,

There I was at the periodontist, drifting like you do, and suddenly I thought, "Yikes, that's supposed to be 'who,' not 'whom.' " I hope I haven't embarrassed you in front of your friends.
